Uber Technologies Declares its EV Product Uber Green at Mumbai International Airport for Sustainable Rides

Uber Technologies launched its flagship electric vehicle (EV) product Uber Green in Mumbai.
According to Uber officials, this is an important mark in Uber’s pledge to sustainable transportation in India. The company is commencing Uber Green, its flagship electric vehicle (EV) product, in Mumbai.
Uber in May declared that it will expand 25,000 electric cars to its platform in alliance with fleet providers like Lithium, Everest and Moove.
With Uber Green, customers can opt for on-demand EV rides, so that the travel experience will be eco-friendly and minimising carbon emissions.
Uber added, “We believe Sustainability should be effortless and integrated into our daily lives. By offering on-demand electric rides, we aim to provide a convenient and zero-emission transportation option for our riders in Mumbai”.
The company stated that its EV amenity will be available for passengers traveling to and from the Mumbai Airport.
Moreover, the service will be feasible all over multiple regions of Mumbai, ascertaining that a number of passengers can contribute to minimising carbon emissions and boosting sustainable mobility throughout the city.
Uber Technologies further added that Uber Green will be soon rolled out to other cities, “enabling riders across India to travel sustainably and contribute to a cleaner and healthier planet for all.”
