TrueRE Oriana Power, one of India’s leading integrated renewable energy companies delivering clean energy solutions across the value chain, has announced the sale of its 110 MWp C&I solar portfolio to Actis, a leading growth market investor in sustainable infrastructure, at an enterprise value of INR 501 crore. This is a part of the proposed divestment of the company’s 238 MW of operational solar assets to Actis.

As part of this deal, TrueRE Oriana Power has transferred its stake in Truere Guj SPV and Truere Current to Actis.

Commenting on the deal, Anirudh Saraswat, Founder and Chief Business Officer, TrueRE Oriana Power said, “The monetisation of our 110 MWp C&I solar portfolio marks the first milestone in our growing strategic partnership with Actis. The capital unlocked through this transaction will support our next phase of growth, enabling us to reinvest in a diversified portfolio across solar, BESS, green fuels and emerging clean-energy infrastructure. We will continue to evaluate more such opportunities that further strengthens our asset recycling strategy.”

The current transaction is in addition to the partnership between TrueRE Oriana Power and Actis for joint development of 1 GW of renewable energy assets. The partnership combines TrueRE Oriana Power’s project development and execution capabilities with Actis’s global investment expertise and financial strength, supporting the development and scaling of large scale renewable energy assets.

With this, TrueRE Oriana Power continues to build its disciplined capital allocation strategy of developing high-quality, bankable assets, selectively monetising them to recycle capital, strengthen the balance sheet and redeploy capital into new opportunities.

Over the last few years, TrueRE Oriana Power has achieved multi-fold growth and delivered strong financial performance. Now, the company is entering its next phase of growth which it plans to achieve through its SCALE and Flywheel strategy. The strategy focuses on scaling its integrated energy platform, selectively monetising assets to recycle capital, building long term asset ownership across generation and storage, leveraging AI and robotics technology and partnerships and expanding into emerging clean-energy opportunities.

Building on this, the company’s FY30 targets include approximately 6 GW of solar EPC, 2.5 GW of solar IPP and 20 GWh of BESS, reflecting its focus on scaling its integrated clean energy platform.
