Transformers and Rectifiers India Receives Large Order from APTRANSCO

Transformers and Rectifiers India receives a large APTRANSCO order for transformer manufacturing, with delivery scheduled over the next 13 months.

Transformers and Rectifiers (India) Ltd. has received a Letter of Intent (LOI) from Transmission Corporation of Andhra Pradesh Transmission Corporation Ltd. (APTRANSCO) for manufacturing transformers and undertaking related works.

The order is from a domestic entity and is scheduled to be delivered within the next 13 months. The execution will be carried out in accordance with the terms and conditions specified in the LOI.

The company said that it remains focused on delivering high quality products and services and has established itself as a leading transformer manufacturer in India.

Recently, Transformers and Rectifiers India has  also secured strong orders from Power Grid Corporation of India, GETCO, RRVPNL and a US customer, supporting a record order book. In Q1 FY27, order inflows surged 218 percent year on year to INR 2,114 crore, while the unexecuted order book rose 26 percent to INR 6,630 crore.

The company is expanding its Changodar facility with an investment of INR 150 crore and pursuing INR 900 crore to INR 1,000 crore in backward integration. Three greenfield manufacturing facilities at Chiyada are also under development.
