Transformers and Rectifiers Bags INR 228.26 Crore GETCO Order

Transformers and Rectifiers (India) Ltd.(TARIL) has secured a fresh order worth INR 228.26 crore from Gujarat Energy Transmission Corporation Ltd. (GETCO) for the manufacturing and supply of six transformers and two reactors along with related works.

The company stated in its filing that delivery is scheduled on or before August 2028. The latest order further strengthens the company’s growing FY26 order pipeline.

Over recent months, TARIL has secured multiple orders from GETCO and other domestic utilities, reflecting sustained demand for high-capacity transformers and grid equipment. In November 2025, the company received a major INR 389.97 crore order from GETCO for the supply of 53 transformers. During the same period, it also secured another INR 103.45 crore GETCO contract involving 54 transformers. Earlier this year, TARIL announced additional domestic and export orders, including a USD 16.26 million export contract for five transformers, highlighting the company’s expanding presence in international markets.

The steady inflow of utility-scale orders comes amid increasing investments in renewable energy integration, interstate transmission corridors and substation modernisation projects across India. Industry experts expect transformer manufacturers to continue benefiting from rising grid expansion requirements driven by renewable energy capacity additions and power demand growth.
