TPDDL Wins ‘Consumer FEST Award 2021’ for Offering Best Digital Customer Exp in Utility Space

Tata Power Delhi Distribution Limited (TPDDL), a leading utility supplying electricity to a populace of 7 million in North Delhi, has been adjudged as a winner under the category Best Digital Customer Experience Initiative in Utility Space at the 14th Edition of The Customer FEST Awards, 2021.

Tata Power Delhi Distribution Limited (TPDDL), a leading utility supplying electricity to a populace of 7 million in North Delhi, has been adjudged as a winner under the category Best Digital Customer Experience Initiative in Utility Space at the 14th Edition of The Customer FEST Awards, 2021.

Dwijadas Basak, Chief- Commercial & Social Impact Group received the award on behalf of the company during a virtual award ceremony.

The company, over a period of time, especially during the pandemic period introduced various digital touch points to ensure the safety and convenience of its consumers. Some of which include –

E-Bills on WhatsApp- to ensure that consumers receive their bills on WhatsApp in a hassle-free manner 

Various digital mode of payments- Netbanking, UPI, tie-up with e-payment wallets etc. 

Smart Meter Portal- to empower consumers to monitor and control electricity consumption 

Self-Meter Reading- to ensure consumer safety during Covid-19 

Web Chat Service- to obtain instant information regarding consumer queries 

Virtual Meets with different segments of consumers- for digital awareness & engagement 

Launch of dedicated section on Website providing all necessary information and details related to various offers & schemes special facilities during the lockdown 

Through these digital initiatives, the company aims to enhance consumer satisfaction, engage with them and provide a more personalized experience to them.
