TotalEnergies Acquires 59 MW Solar Project from Soltec to Expand Murcia Portfolio
Soltec and TotalEnergies have increased their joint project portfolio in the region of Murcia. The transaction involves the acquisition by TotalEnergies of Campos del Río project, with a 59 MW installed capacity.

This is a co-development agreement through which both companies continue to advance in the energy transition in the region, with TotalEnergies holding 65 percent of the project and Soltec 35 percent.
The future solar plant will generate enough electricity to cover the estimated annual consumption of more than 33,700 households, while avoiding the emission of more than 31.800 tonnes of CO2 per year.
Raúl Morales, CEO of Soltec, said, “We are proud to announce the sale of a 65 percent stake in Campos del Río project in Murcia to a partner such as TotalEnergies. This collaboration not only aligns with our commitment to advance in sustainable energy solutions, but also highlights the strength and attractiveness of our assets under development. We are confident that our partnership with TotalEnergies will continue to progress and contribute significantly to the growth of clean energy production in the region of Murcia”.
