ThunderPlus inaugurates its eighth EV charging franchise in Bachupally, Hyderabad, featuring a 60 kW fast charger to support multi-segment electric vehicles.
ThunderPlus, an EV charging infrastructure company, has launched a new fast EV charging station in Bachupally, Hyderabad, developed by converting an underutilised parcel of land into a revenue-generating clean mobility hub.
The facility has been established in partnership with Manoj, the eighth EV charging franchise owner under the ThunderPlus network. An IT professional by background, he repurposed unused land into a future-ready EV charging station, transforming a vacant land into sustainable and commercially viable EV infrastructure.
The EV station, located between Bachupally and Bowrampet, is equipped with a 60 kW fast charger, capable of supporting 2-wheelers, 3-wheelers, 4-wheelers and light commercial vehicles. The station is open to all EV users and offers a simple, app-free charging experience, making it convenient for daily commuters and fleet operators alike.
Rajeev YSR, ED and CEO, ThunderPlus, said, “India does not have a land shortage, it has an infrastructure utilisation problem. Through our franchise-led model and 250 plus active charging stations across India, we are enabling everyday landowners and entrepreneurs to participate in the EV transition. Manoj’s Bachupally station is a strong example of how local assets can power India’s clean mobility future.”
Manoj, ThunderPlus franchise partner in Bachupally, added, “Partnering with ThunderPlus helped me transform unused land into a future-ready EV charging station. The company provided the right technology, support and business model, making it rewarding to be part of a network that is building reliable charging infrastructure while creating a sustainable business opportunity.”
This Bachupally facility marks ThunderPlus’ eighth EV charging franchise in India. As part of its rapid expansion strategy, the company plans to establish 100 EV charging franchises over the next six months, supporting clean mobility, generating local employment and creating scalable, sustainable business opportunities across the country.
