In a major step toward boosting electric mobility, Thunderplus, a provider of EV charging solutions, has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Tata Motors to set up 5,000 public charging stations for electric small commercial vehicles (SCVs) across Tier 2 and Tier 3 cities.
The rollout will cover Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, Delhi, West Bengal, Bihar, and Maharashtra.The charging stations will be strategically located at major logistics hubs to support fleet operators, helping them enhance operational efficiency and maximise earning potential. Each station will feature fast-charging capabilities and integrated digital solutions for smooth access and efficient energy management.
