NTPC Releases Tender for Smart Metering Infrastructure at TSTPS Township

The concise scale of work will consist of the supply, installation, and commissioning of the project at the township

The National Thermal Power Corporation (NTPC) has announced that it has released tender inviting online bids from entitled bidders for the development of an advanced smart metering infrastructure and system integration at its township of Talcher Super Thermal Power Station in the Angul District, Odisha.

The concise scale of work will consist of the supply, installation, and commissioning of the project at the township.

The final date of bid submissions is January 28, 2019, and the technical bids will open on January 30, 2019.

To be qualified for bidding on the project, each attracted party must have supplied and commissioned Advanced Meter Reading (AMR) system having automatic and remote communication feature for a network size of at least 1000 communicable energy metering devices, which should have been in successful operation in at least one location for a least period of one year preceding to the date of techno-commercial bid opening.

Besides that, the normal yearly revenue of the bidder in the previous three financial years as on the date of Techno-Commercial bid opening should not be less than Rs 3.99 crore, and must also submit an Earnest Money Deposit (EMD) of Rs 5 lakhs.
