The Energy Resource Institute (TERI) has announced that it has offered to conduct a study to find ways to deliver affordable power supply to key sectors like agriculture and industries in Andhra Pradesh.
Speaking at international conference, International Symposium to Promote Innovation and Research in Energy Efficiency (INSPIRE 2019), Mumbai, TERI director general Ajay Mathur said they would examine ways to provide low-cost solar power to discoms at a rate of around Rs 3 per unit to supply agriculture pump sets if the state government was keen and it is subject to APERC approval.
