The Telangana State Renewable Energy Development Corp (TSREDCO) has announced that it has released a tender for the installation of rooftop solar power systems between 1-1000 kW capacity at several government buildings across the state on a turnkey basis.
The scope of work for the nominated bidders will include the supply, design, installation, testing and commissioning of the various capacities of grid-connected solar power projects through rate contract program under CAPEX mode in the state. The selected developers will also be required to provide five years of comprehensive operation and maintenance of the plants.
The work of the successful bidders also includes the site survey, measurement of solar isolation, procurement, and expediting of all supplies and delivery of equipment and material to each job site.

All bidders must submit an Earnest Money Deposit of Rs 2 lakh along with their bids. At the time of allocation of projects, the bidder shall submit Performance Guarantee @ 10 percent on the total project cost with a quoted price.
To be qualified, the bidders should be valid registered suppliers with TSREDCO with the requisite experience of at least minimum 200 kWp cumulative capacity in the field of off-grid OR grid-connected solar PV systems in any one of the last 3 fiscal years. Additionally, the firms should have a minimum turnover of Rs 1 crore in the same period.
After the grant of the projects, the successful bidders will be required to complete the work on the projects within two months for capacity between 1 to 10 kW. For installations ranging between 11 to 100 kW, the work needs to be completed within 120 days. For work above 100 kW, the duration of work is six months.
