Tejas Cargo India Deploys Blue Energy Motors’ Electric Trucks for Dalmia Cement
Tejas Cargo India has deployed Blue Energy Motors’ electric heavy-duty trucks for Dalmia Cement’s cement transportation operations in Rajgangpur, Odisha.

Operated by Tejas Cargo India, the Blue Energy Motors electric truck will support Dalmia Cement's logistics requirements. The deployment reflects a growing industry focus on reducing transportation-related emissions and building more sustainable supply chains, the company stated.
It further added that as businesses increasingly look beyond their manufacturing operations to reduce their environmental footprint, freight transportation has emerged as a significant contributor to Scope 3 emissions and an important area for action. This collaboration demonstrates how manufacturers, logistics providers, vehicle OEMs and charging infrastructure companies can come together to accelerate the adoption of cleaner mobility solutions, helping reduce transportation-related emissions while supporting more sustainable and efficient supply chains.

With over 1,400 green heavy-duty trucks operating across key freight corridors in India, the company has collectively clocked over 122 million green kilometres and helped reduce more than 33,000 tonnes of CO₂ emissions – equivalent to the carbon absorption of nearly 1.3 million trees, the company stated.
