Tata Power Renewables Bags Best Performing Wind Farms Award for FY23

Tata Power Renewables attained a significant milestone by receiving the ‘Best Performing Wind Farms’ award at the Indian Wind Power Association (IWPA) award function for FY 2023.

The award ceremony was visited by Bhupinder Singh Bhalla IAS, Secretary of the Ministry of New and Renewable Energy (MNRE), Government of India and Dinesh Dayanand Jagdale, Joint Secretary, MNRE, Government of India.
The 21 MW Vagarai Wind Farm stands out among the winners thanks to its triumph in the Tamil Nadu region's Shengottah and Palghat Pass in the category "Above 2 MW."
With the win, the 100 MW Nimbagallu Wind Farm—covering the regions of Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh, and Telangana—evolved as successful in the same category.
Moreover, the 21 MW Dalot Wind Farm honoured recognition in the ‘Above 2 MW’ category for the states of Maharashtra, Gujarat, Rajasthan, and Madhya Pradesh. This all-inclusive range of awards unveiled Tata Power Renewables' effectiveness in tapping wind energy throughout the country and its commitment to sustainable energy practices.
Tata Power has an established capacity of 932 MW wind power production with plants spanned throughout the states of Maharashtra, Gujarat, Tamil Nadu, Karnataka Rajasthan, Andhra Pradesh and Madhya Pradesh in boosting wind power generation in India.
