Tata Power commissions India’s 1st Pre-fabricated 33/11 kV PDC for its Mumbai Cosumers

Tata Power in line with its commitment to constantly revolutionize for the benefit of its customers, has designed and developed the first Power Distribution Centre (PDC) in India in collaboration with ABB

The PDC is a pre-fabricated modular enclosure that houses the MV Switchgear, LV switchgear and auxiliary equipment’s.This engineered solution has been innovated to overcome the major challenges faced in rapidly growing cities and urban areas. Tata Power has been able to reduce the footprint of the 33 /11KV substation by almost 30%, civil cost of construction by 82% as well as the gestation period of establishing the substation by 2 months.
