Tata Power has awarded a 50 MW Firm and Dispatchable Renewable Energy (FDRE) project to ACME Solar at a tariff of INR 4.43/ unit.
The FDRE tender was floated by Tata Power under Tariff-Based Competitive Bidding (TBCB) for which an e-reverse auction was conducted on 13 August, 2025. The project will be required to maintain a minimum annual Capacity Utilisation Factor (CUF) of 40 percent and ensure four hours of peak-hour supply with 90 percent availability on a monthly basis.
The project would combine multiple renewable energy technologies, including Solar and Battery Energy Storage System (BESS), to meet the supply obligations for PPA tenor of 25 years. The commissioning timeline of the project is 24 months from the PPA signing.
With an in-house EPC and O&M division, ACME Solar does end-to-end development and O&M of the plants, thereby delivering projects in a time and cost-effective manner while ensuring the best-in-class operating performance.
