TANFAC Industries Expands Solar Grade DHF Plant Capacity to 10,000 TPA
TANFAC Industries has commissioned the second phase of its 5,000 TPA solar grade dilute hydrofluoric acid plant, doubling its total capacity to 10,000 TPA.

TANFAC Industries, an Indian chemical company, has announced that it has successfully commissioned its second phase of 5,000 TPA (AHF Basis) Solar Grade Dilute Hydro Fluoric Acid Plant, expanding the total capacity to 10,000 TPA.
The second phase was commissioned post approval of the quality of the trial production batches after the product conformed to the stringent quality requirements of its customers, the company said in a statement.
Tanfac had already commissioned the first phase of the project, with a capacity of 5,000 TPA (AHF Basis) in June 2025.
Speaking on the occasion, Afzal Malkani, Director, TANFAC Industries commented, “We are excited to announce the successful commissioning of the second 5,000 TPA (AHF Basis) solar grade DHF plant after successfully commissioning the first phase of 5,000 TPA (AHF Basis) during June 2025. The product from the new line also conformed to the stringent quality requirements of its major and key Solar Energy producing customers.”
He further asserted, “TANFAC is the first and only chemical company in India to achieve this. This is another milestone in the history of TANFAC and has the potential of increasing the top and bottom lines significantly.”
Tanfac Industries is a joint sector company promoted by Anupam Rasayan India and Tamil Nadu Industrial Development Corporation (TIDCO) and is a major producer of Hydrofluoric Acid and its derivatives. The manufacturing facilities are spread over 60 acres in the chemical complex of SIPCOT Industrial Estate, Cuddalore in Tamil Nadu.
