Tamil Nadu’s Renewable Energy Future in Spotlight at REconnect Coimbatore
Under the theme of ‘Powering Tomorrow: Solar and Wind Synergies for a Resilient Tamil Nadu’, REconnect Summit Coimbatore will bring together leading voices in the renewable energy sector – including IPPs, EPCs, manufacturers, policymakers, Discoms and energy storage solutions providers, showcasing the state’s progress toward a sustainable energy future.

The Coimbatore Edition of REconnect Summit is scheduled to be held on December 4, 2025, at the Merlis Hotel. Under the theme of ‘Powering Tomorrow: Solar and Wind Synergies for a Resilient Tamil Nadu’, the REconnect Summit Coimbatore will place the state’s clean energy momentum squarely in the spotlight, bringing together a powerful mix of stakeholders from renewable energy EPCs (C&I and residential), solar and wind component manufacturers, and the energy storage ecosystem to collectively shape the next phase of Tamil Nadu’s green growth story.
Designed as a full-day forum that convenes influential leaders, experts, and innovators to discuss pathways for Tamil Nadu’s renewable energy transition strategy as it works toward its target of adding 12 GW of RE capacity by 2030, taking the state’s total closer to 40 GW.
Dr. K. Balaraman, Former Director General, NIWE, MNRE and Chairman, ETD 46, BIS, Er. C. Sathish Kumar, Superintending Engineer, Tamil Nadu Power Distribution Corporation Ltd. and R.K. Vinothan, Former Director (Technical), Tamil Nadu Green Energy Corporation Ltd., will be the Guests of Honour. They will be emphasising the importance of advancing wind and solar energy, along with BESS adoption for a resilient energy grid via their keynote addresses.
