SWREL Receives 245 MW Contract from Gujarat PSU

Sterling and Wilson Renewable Energy Ltd. has announced that the company has been declared as L1 bidder in a tender of a reputed PSU developer for a turn-key EPC package for the development of a 245 MW (AC) grid -connected Solar PV Project in Gujarat, India.

Speaking on emerging as a successful L1 bidder, Chandra Kishore Thakur, Global CEO, Sterling and Wilson Renewable Energy Group, said, “We are excited to continue to build our gross order inflows¹ (including L1) which has exceeded INR 2,000 crore this year.”

The overall renewable market including domestic market continues to remain very buoyant, and ordering activity is beginning to gather pace which is likely to benefit EPC players going forward,” added Thakur.
