swissnex India concludes Pune edition of Cleantech Week India 2018
Marking the Cleantech Week India 2018, swissnex India brought the best minds of Switzerland’s clean energy sector in Pune

The 15 member delegation of researchers and entrepreneurs from Switzerland participated in a series of business and technology workshops, industry trade-shows and several site visits to observe the Indian renewable energy network first hand.
Commenting on the robust start to the week, Phillip Müller, Head of Cleantech, Swiss Federal Office of Energy said, “We perceive India as a market with policy, price and scale challenges but also remarkable potential.”
He further added that, “Our wish from platforms like Cleantech Week is to connect with corporate, manufacturing, policy and government institutions to join the dots of innovation, business latent and talent.”
CEO of swissnex India and Consul General of Switzerland, Sebastien Hug, said in a testimonial, “India’s grip and growth in the energy market makes it mature for innovation and technology distraction. It is our mission to facilitate the outreach and active engagement and international exchange of knowledge and talent.”
The Pune episode of the Cleantech Week 2018 introduced the delegation to prospective market opportunities in one of India’s largest manufacturing and automotive hubs. This incorporated targeted, field specific site visits to clean energy stakeholders like Tata Green Batteries, E-mobility Group at the Automotive Research Association of India (ARAI) and the Pune Railway Station Rooftop Solar Project.
