SWELECT Energy Systems (formerly known as NUMERIC Power Systems) has unveiled its new corporate logo and brand tagline ‘Powering the World Responsibly’. The company also announced the launch of its NUMERGY product portfolio, a comprehensive range of Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) and home energy solutions designed to address the growing need for reliable, round-the-clock power across residential, SOHO and large-scale commercial and industrial (C&I) applications.

Commenting on the unveiling of the new brand identity, R. Chellappan, Founder and Vice Chairman, SWELECT Energy Systems, said, “Our new identity reflects how far we have come and where we are headed. From building dependable power solutions under Numeric to focusing on clean energy through SWELECT, our core values remain the same – reliability, responsibility and trust. ‘Powering the World Responsibly’ aptly captures our belief that growth and sustainability must go hand in hand.”

The refreshed identity reflects what SWELECT stands for today – a company rooted in strong engineering values, now focused on delivering responsible, sustainable energy solutions to homes, industries, and businesses. The new logo and tagline signal a clear direction as the company strengthens its presence across solar, energy storage, and integrated energy solutions, the company stated.

It further added that SWELECT’s journey is deeply connected to the legacy of Numeric Power Systems, a name that became synonymous with reliability in India’s power electronics space. For decades, Numeric set the benchmark for UPS systems with an industry-leading 99.9999 percent reliability record. That engineering discipline and customer trust continue to form the backbone of SWELECT’s approach today, it asserted.

In line with this ethos is SWELECT’s NUMERGY portfolio, which has been designed to address energy storage needs across homes, small businesses and large commercial and industrial users, with solutions that scale seamlessly from residential to enterprise applications.

Unveiling the NUMERGY product range, Dr. Arulkumar Shanmugasundaram, CEO and Managing Director, SWELECT Energy Systems, said, “Battery Energy Storage Systems are central to the future of reliable and resilient power. As energy consumption patterns change and renewable penetration increases, storage will be the key to ensuring round-the-clock availability, grid stability, and energy independence. With NUMERGY, SWELECT is addressing these needs across homes, businesses and industries.”

The NUMERGY portfolio comprises three offerings: NUMERGY HOME, ranging from 1 to 10 kW, which delivers complete home energy solutions for residential and small office/home office (SOHO) applications; NUMERGY HYBRID, spanning 5 to 20 kW, featuring advanced hybrid energy systems suited for high-consumption residential properties and small commercial installations with greater capacity and flexibility; and NUMERGY HP, ranging from 3 to 50 kW, offering high-performance battery energy storage systems (BESS) designed for commercial and industrial users requiring robust storage infrastructure and advanced grid integration capabilities.

SWELECT’s NUMERGY HOME and BESS solutions enable optimised resource utilisation by efficiently storing daytime solar generation for use when required, reducing grid dependence and improving overall energy efficiency. Advanced energy management and grid integration capabilities allow intelligent dispatch of power, storing surplus renewable energy for release during peak demand periods, thereby minimising curtailment and improving grid economics, the company stated.

By lowering peak demand charges and improving lifecycle returns, the systems help reduce overall project costs, while excess renewable generation is stored instead of curtailed, maximising solar utilisation and strengthening project economics. Integrated storage also ensures reliable and uninterrupted power delivery, even during grid outages or peak load conditions, it said.
