SWELECT Adds 1 GW Module Capacity at Coimbatore Plant
SWELECT Energy Systems has inaugurated an additional 1 GW PV module manufacturing capacity and launched a 10 MWh BESS installation at its Coimbatore facility, taking its total module capacity to over 2 GW.

The company also announced the launch of a 10 MWh battery energy storage system (BESS) installation comprising two 5 MWh systems.
“These additions reflect our continued investment in advanced solar manufacturing and energy storage capabilities, further strengthening SWELECT’s integrated clean-energy ecosystem,” the company stated.
In January 2026, SWELECT unveiled its new corporate logo and brand tagline 'Powering the World Responsibly'. The company also announced the launch of its NUMERGY product portfolio, a comprehensive range of Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) and home energy solutions designed to address the growing need for reliable, round-the-clock power across residential, SOHO and large-scale commercial and industrial (C&I) applications.
The company is aiming to expand both EPC and IPP portfolios by 1 GW each over the next two years.
