Sushil Sharma Takes Additional Charge as CMD and Director (Personnel) of SJVN
Sharma's recommendation for the post of CMD of SJVN was made by the Public Enterprises Selection Board (PESB).

The Ministry of Power has appointed Sushil Sharma, Director (Projects) of SJVN Limited, to take on the additional responsibilities of Chairman & Managing Director (CMD) and Director (Personnel). The appointment is valid for a period of three months or until further notice.
Sharma's recommendation for the post of CMD of SJVN was made by the Public Enterprises Selection Board (PESB).
Having served as Director (Projects) of SJVN since August 1, 2020, Sharma has played a key role in several major projects, including the 1500 MW Nathpa Jhakri Hydro Power Station, 412 MW Rampur Hydro Power Station in Himachal Pradesh, and 60 MW Naitwar Mori Hydro Power Station in Uttarakhand. His expertise and contributions have been instrumental in the successful design, construction, and commissioning of these power stations.
Sharma brings over 30 years of rich and varied experience to his new role, with a background in mechanical engineering from the Visvesvaraya National Institute of Technology, Nagpur. He began his career in the H.P. State Technical Education Service in 1990 before joining SJVN in January 1994 as an Assistant Engineer. Over the years, he has held integral positions in various departments and projects, steadily rising to positions of increased responsibility.
