Surat Municipal Corporation Invites Bids for 6.3 MW Wind Power Project in Gujarat

Interested bidders are required to submit their proposals by March 14, 2024, with bid openings scheduled for the following day. A document fee of INR 21,240 and an earnest money deposit (EMD) of INR 6.88 million are mandatory for participation.
The awarded contractor must ensure project commissioning within 12 months from the contract award date. Furthermore, within 15 days of being awarded the contract, the chosen contractor is obligated to furnish a bank guarantee equivalent to 5 percent of the contract value, valid for 15 months from the project commissioning date.
During the commencement of the O&M period, preceding the expiration of the 12-month performance guarantee period, bidders must provide a bank guarantee amounting to 20 percent of the total O&M charges for the second year.
Subsequently, for each subsequent year, a new bank guarantee is required to be submitted before the corresponding O&M period, with an amount equivalent to 20 percent of the total O&M charges for that specific year.
