Sunsure Energy Collaborates with Sandoz to Supply Over 31 Mn Units of Green Energy

This green power commitment will be fulfilled through Open Access supply of power to Sandoz India’s facilities in Maharashtra.

Sunsure Energy has entered into a partnership with Sandoz India to supply over 31 million units of green energy annually for the next 25 years.

Sunsure will set up this captive renewable energy plant with Sandoz India as the sole user of power. This green power commitment will be fulfilled through Open Access supply of power to Sandoz India’s facilities in Maharashtra. This will enable Sandoz India to offset over 26 million kgs of CO2 annually for the next 25 years.

Sudhir Bhandare, Executive Director & Head Technical Operation, Sandoz India said: "With this partnership, we have taken a significant step towards our sustainability goals. As part of our efforts to always improve our operations, we are also ensuring that we perform our duties in a sustainable and responsible manner by running our operations on green energy. With this project, we will offset a significant amount of our carbon emissions and contribute towards a cleaner and greener future.”
