SRIVARU Completes On-Road Driving Range Tests for Prana 2.0 Battery System
The company’s Prana Grand and Prana Elite models have surpassed expectations, achieving extended vehicle ranges of over 150 km and 250 km respectively, on a single charge.

The Prana 2.0 battery system, integrated into the Prana Grand and Prana Elite models, has outperformed initial projections, delivering impressive results that exceed typical electric motorcycle ranges. Ramasamy highlighted the substantial enhancements achieved through the Prana 2.0, revealing that the Prana Grand’s expected range for standard road driving has been boosted by over 20 percent to well in excess of 150 km. Similarly, the Prana Elite now boasts an unparalleled range of over 250 km on a single charge, setting a new industry benchmark.
In addition to extended range capabilities, SRIVARU has incorporated various enhancements into the Prana 2.0 battery system, including temperature sensors within the battery pack. These sensors provide audio and visual warnings regarding battery temperature, mitigating potential degradation or fire risks. Furthermore, the Prana 2.0 battery system is designed to meet the latest safety standard of AIS-156 Phase 3 certification, ensuring optimal safety for riders.
Ramasamy emphasized the company’s commitment to combining cutting-edge technology and performance with competitive pricing, positioning SRIVARU as a frontrunner not only in India but on a global scale.
