Sony offers a big surprise at the CES 2020 in Las Vegas with its Vision-S electric car concept, for which it associated with companies like Bosch, Continental, Nvidia and Qualcomm.
The Vision-S is the first-ever prototype vehicle out of the company's mobility efforts.
The Sony Vision-S comes with 33 sensors on board along with other features like 360 Reality Audio, wide-screen displays etc. The sensors on board are there to enable the car to drive autonomously.

The sensors onboard include high-resolution, HDR-compatible CMOS imaging sensors and radar. Also, there are Time of Flight (ToF) sensors embedded inside the car that can detect and recognize people and objects inside and outside the vehicle.
In terms of design, it looks like a rebadged and slightly modified Tesla Model 3. This four-seater model is claimed to have twin 200 kW electric motors, each powering one axle. Also, in terms of performance, the car can accelerate to 100 kmph from standstill in 4.8 seconds with a top speed of 240 kmph.
