In a significant step toward sustainable energy adoption in the Himalayan region, multiple solar power projects totaling 200 kW have been successfully installed across Tehri Garhwal and Uttarkashi districts of Uttarakhand.

These projects are powered by the latest Solis-255-EHV-5G-PLUS inverters, supplied by Ginlong (Solis) Technologies—one of the world’s leading manufacturers of PV string inverters.

The installations are strategically located in hilly terrains, bringing renewable energy to remote areas where grid access can be limited and inconsistent. Designed for high-efficiency commercial and industrial applications, the Solis-255-EHV-5G-PLUS inverters were selected for their performance reliability, advanced safety features, and adaptability in challenging environmental conditions.

“We are proud to support Uttarakhand’s clean energy vision with our high-performance inverter solutions,” said by Honey Raza (Sales Director) from Solis. “Our technology is built to thrive in diverse geographies, and these installations reflect our ongoing commitment to empowering sustainable development across India.”

The Solis-255-EHV-5G-PLUS model is a standout in the high-power inverter category, offering Up to 99 percent efficiency for maximum energy yield, 12 MPPTs and wide voltage range for complex array configurations, String-level monitoring for improved operational control, IP66 protection, ideal for rugged and high-altitude environments, Compatibility with 1500V DC systems, reducing installation costs and increasing ROIBy bringing clean power to remote hill regions, these projects not only lower dependency on fossil fuels but also improve energy access for communities and institutions across Uttarakhand.

The initiative supports India’s broader renewable energy targets under its National Solar Mission and contributes to local economic and environmental sustainability.
