Solis, a global manufacturer of solar inverters and provider of energy storage solutions, marked 10 years of operations in India and officially introduced SolisStorage at the Solis Surat Technical Seminar 2026, held on September 18, in Surat.
The seminar brought together customers, partners and renewable energy professionals for technical discussions, product presentations and networking. The event highlighted the evolution of Solis’ business in India, from its established solar inverter portfolio to a broader offering that integrates solar generation, energy storage and intelligent energy management.
Over the past decade, Solis has worked with customers and partners across India’s renewable energy sector, building experience in solar inverter technology and developing relationships across the local market. The launch of SolisStorage marks the next stage of this journey, extending the company’s portfolio to energy storage solutions for residential, commercial and industrial applications.
During the seminar, discussions highlighted the growing need for greater flexibility in how businesses generate, store and use electricity. For C&I users in particular, energy storage can support applications including solar self-consumption, peak management, backup power and energy management, helping businesses make greater use of on-site renewable generation.
Solis presented its SolisStorage portfolio as a scalable approach to integrating battery storage with both new and existing PV systems, with solutions designed to accommodate different site conditions, capacity requirements and expansion plans.
At the seminar, Solis highlighted two C&I energy storage solutions with distinct system architectures: EverCore and FlexCore-ID.
EverCore is an integrated outdoor cabinet solution that combines battery storage with Solis hybrid inverter technology. Available in 100 kWh, 120 kWh and 261 kWh configurations, the system is designed to streamline system integration and installation while supporting applications such as industrial parks, large factories, distributed PV projects and other commercial facilities. Its integrated architecture provides a compact approach to combining solar generation and energy storage for C&I applications.
FlexCore-ID is an indoor modular energy storage solution featuring a vertical stacking architecture with an integrated support frame. With capacities ranging from 60–261 kWh per stack, the system can be configured and expanded according to project requirements. Its modular design provides flexibility for projects with limited indoor space or phased investment plans, with applications including factories, commercial buildings, retrofit projects and C&I rooftop PV systems.
Together, EverCore and FlexCore-ID demonstrate Solis’ approach to providing different storage architectures for different C&I requirements, allowing customers to consider site conditions, installation requirements, energy needs and future expansion plans when selecting a solution.
The seminar also provided an opportunity to discuss how energy requirements in India are evolving and how energy storage can support the next stage of solar adoption.
Idrish Khan, Chief Technical Officer at Solis, said, “Over the past decade, we have witnessed a significant transformation in the Indian market. Ten years ago, our conversations were largely focused on building solar awareness and expanding PV adoption. Today, customers are increasingly looking at how energy storage can add flexibility and value to their energy systems. Businesses are not only considering electricity costs, but are also looking at energy management, peak and off-peak consumption, and reliable backup power.”
He added, “As we expand SolisStorage in India, our focus is on adapting our solutions to local market requirements, strengthening our relationships with C&I partners and enhancing our local technical support capabilities. This will allow us to provide customers with solutions and services throughout the lifecycle of their energy storage projects.”
Beyond the product presentations, the seminar provided a platform for Solis representatives, customers and industry professionals to exchange views on the development of solar and energy storage applications in India. Technical discussions covered product capabilities, system configurations and potential applications, while networking sessions enabled participants to discuss project requirements and emerging market opportunities directly with the Solis team.
As Solis celebrates 10 years in India, the launch of SolisStorage marks a new phase in the company’s local development. Building on its experience in solar inverters and its relationships with customers and partners, Solis will continue to expand its presence in India with solutions that bring together solar generation, energy storage and intelligent energy management.
