Punjab-based solar power developer and EPC company Solidus Techno Power has announced the commissioning of its seventh open-access solar project for Kular Green Energy at Balliewal, Ludhiana, Punjab.

The project has a capacity of 4 MW AC/5.6 MWp DC and is expected to generate approximately 8.7 million units of clean energy annually, while reducing around 6,500 tonnes of CO₂ emissions each year, stated the company.

With the latest commissioning, Solidus Techno Power has crossed 500 MW of commissioned solar PV projects. The company also has a 25 MWh Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) portfolio and a 120 MW Independent Power Producer (IPP) portfolio.

“These milestones reflect Solidus’ evolution from a Solar EPC company into an integrated renewable energy platform spanning EPC, Open Access, IPP and Battery Energy Storage,” stated the company.

The company is targeting a total portfolio of over 1,000 MW by the end of 2026, it said earlier.
