SolarYaan has launched a new line of three-phase hybrid inverters (5–125 kW) paired with modular storage batteries (6–16 kWh), at the Renewable Energy India (REI) Expo 2025, being held at Greater Noida.

“In India, we are the first company to launch a 125 kW hybrid inverter,” stated a spokesperson from the company.

The company further highlighted that frequent power cuts, rising electricity tariffs, and growing rooftop solar adoption are driving homeowners to prefer hybrid inverters that combine solar and battery backup in one system. “These allow households to use solar power during the day and the stored energy at night — ensuring energy independence and savings,” it said.

Moreover, rural areas face unstable grids and long outages, making hybrid inverters with battery backup essential for maintaining a continuous power supply for homes, schools, and small enterprises.

Government rural electrification schemes also encourage hybrid solar systems for off-grid reliability. Hybrid inverters in the 5–125 kW range are witnessing strong demand as they help manage peak loads and reduce energy costs, while also providing reliable backup power during grid failures, the company stated.
