SolarYaan has announced the commissioning of its 1 GW solar inverter manufacturing plant near Ahmedabad, Gujarat.

The company’s new facility features advanced testing and quality assurance systems to ensure reliability and performance across applications from residential rooftops to large-scale solar farms, the company shared in a social media post.

Established in 2019, SolarYaan designs and manufactures a complete range of solar power solutions, including microinverters, string inverters, hybrid inverters, and utility-scale systems, it said.

“Our microinverters (600 W–2.4 kW) are designed for residential and small commercial setups, maximising power from each panel and reducing energy loss. String inverters (2 kW–136 kW) provide efficient, cost-effective performance for residential, commercial, and industrial systems, with easy installation and broad compatibility,” the company stated.

It further added that the company’s portfolio includes All-in-one hybrid systems (3H-10H/10kWh), hybrid inverters (5KT-125KT), and storage batteries (6kWh-16kWh) systems. “Our hybrid systems integrate solar, battery storage, and smart management to ensure uninterrupted power and backup during outages,” the company said.

For large-scale projects, SolarYaan’s utility-scale inverters (320 kW – 350 kW) deliver stable, high-efficiency power for solar farms and grid applications.

At the recently concluded Renewable Energy India (REI) Expo, SolarYaan launched a new range of three-phase hybrid inverters (5-125 kW) paired with modular storage batteries (6-16 kWh).

Founded by Manoj Patel, CEO, and Shaleen Botadra, Director, SolarYaan aims to strengthen India’s clean energy value chain through indigenous innovation and technology.

The company plans to expand its manufacturing footprint with upcoming facilities for 5 GW of hybrid inverter production and 5 GWh of lithium-ion battery systems, representing a planned investment of about INR 1,000 crore by 2030.
