Langfang Sol-Bright New Energy (Sol-Bright) has announced that the company has signed an agreement with Rays Power Infra to supply its fully automatic, water-free robotic cleaning systems for the 250 MW NTPC solar PV project in Bikaner, Rajasthan.
The contract was formalised during the India visit of Sol-Bright CEO Xu Zhengxiong, the company stated in a social media post.
Under the agreement, Sol-Bright will provide advanced robotic cleaning solutions designed specifically for 1P tracker installations. According to the company, the systems are intended to improve generation efficiency while enabling sustainable, water-free operations in the arid Bikaner region, where dust accumulation poses a significant challenge to solar plant performance.
“Commissioning is scheduled for Q2 2026, marking another step forward in driving efficiency and sustainability in large-scale solar projects,” it said.
The partnership with Rays Power Infra strengthens the company’s presence in large-scale solar projects in India and supports ongoing efforts to enhance operational reliability and lifecycle performance of utility-scale assets.
In November this year, Langfang Sol-Bright New Energy announced that it will supply its water-free robotic solar module cleaning systems for AMPIN Energy Transition’s 160 MW wind–solar hybrid projects in Rajasthan. The contract includes the delivery of both fully automatic and semi-automatic variants of Sol-Bright’s advanced robotic cleaning systems, along with the installation of IP single-axis tracker–compatible solutions.
The company has so far supplied close to 100,000 robotic cleaning units across an estimated 40 GW of solar capacity worldwide, spanning more than 195 utility-scale projects.
