SOFAR has officially launched its latest product, the PowerMega (350KTLX0), tailored specifically for utility-scale projects. The unveiling took place at the Renewable Energy India Expo 2023 (REI 2023).
The PowerMega (350KTLX0) is an innovative inverter optimized for utility solar applications, with SOFAR expressing confidence that its technology will play a crucial role in shaping the future of the solar industry. One of its standout features is its remarkable maximum efficiency of 99.05 percent at 50 degrees.
Jesse Lau, Head of SOFAR APAC & MEA Region, emphasized the unique advantages of the PowerMega, stating, "High efficiency, easy installation & maintenance, in addition to the local technical support and global acceptance are some of the critical reasons why customers choose SOFAR."
Lau further highlighted the company's commitment to technological innovation and service optimization, with a focus on expanding their business layout to meet the demands of localized service support in India.
The PowerMega is designed with a range of features, including the integration of ultra-high current, easy installation, and intelligent protection. It boasts 8*60 A multiple MPPTs, making it compatible with 500Wp+ high-power and various utility-scale designs. These features aim to ensure lower Levelised Cost of Energy (LCOE) and higher yields for end-users.
SOFAR, anticipating a positive response in upcoming Commercial and Industrial (C&I) and small-scale utility applications, also introduced the 100-125KTL-G4. This new addition to their product line is expected to provide optimal yields and lower LCOE in complex terrains for end-users, equipped with 40A*10 MPPTs ultra-high currents.
Moreover, the 100-125KTL-G4 inverter offers comprehensive protection through an Arc Fault Circuit Interrupter (AFCI), Type II Surge Protection Device (SPD), and I-V curve scanning. These features enhance system safety and mitigate potential financial losses for users.
Jesse Lau further shared positive shipment statistics, stating, "By H1 2023, our shipment to India has reached over 2.5 GW. We’re pleased to provide our pioneering solutions for different EPCs, IPPs, and C&I customers."
