Slenergy Technology has unveiled its cutting-edge Commercial & Industrial (C&I) Energy Storage System, the SL50/128CH3-W, designed to help businesses manage energy in a reliable, scalable, and cost-effective way. This innovation highlights Slenergy’s ongoing commitment to promoting energy independence through advanced technology and integrated systems.

The SL50/128CH3-W is engineered to meet the demanding requirements of commercial and industrial energy users, focusing on safety, efficiency, and flexibility. The system incorporates triple protection, which includes space-grade fire protection, water-based fire suppression, and a vented explosion design.

Additionally, it features intelligent monitoring with integrated smoke, temperature, and gas detectors that provide real-time alarms. The system also utilizes EV-grade battery cells, which undergo rigorous screening to ensure longevity and consistency.

In terms of efficiency and thermal management, the SL50/128CH3-W uses liquid cooling technology to maintain a cell temperature difference below 21°C, optimizing performance even in extreme conditions, ranging from -35°C to +55°C. The system boasts a conversion efficiency of 98.5 percent, thanks to its three-level topology, which maximizes energy output while minimizing losses.

The modular design of the system allows for easy and rapid deployment, with pre-integrated BMS, inverter, and PACK components that simplify maintenance. It also supports scalability, with the ability to connect up to 10 parallel cabinets, ranging from 50 kW to 500 kW, to meet evolving energy needs.

The SL50/128CH3-W offers significant cost savings and sustainability benefits through peak shaving, which reduces grid dependency and electricity costs. The system is designed to ensure long-term return on investment with over 8,000 life cycles and minimal degradation, maintaining 70 percent state of health at 25°C and a 0.5C rate.

With a rated power of 50 kW and a maximum AC output of 55 kW, the system has a battery capacity of 128 kWh per cabinet, following the 12BkWh/IP128S configuration. It meets international safety standards such as IEC 61850 and EN 50549-1, and is fully compatible with third-party EMS as well as Slenergy’s Smart M platform for real-time monitoring and remote upgrades.
