SKF expands maintenance service network

Indo Bearing Traders in Mumbai recently earned the status of SKF Certified Maintenance Partner, allowing Indo Bearing Traders to provide machine reliability services through the use of information and technology that are proprietary to SKF. 

Indo Bearing Traders in Mumbai has been an SKF Authorized Distributor since 1987. As an SKF Certified Maintenance Partner, Indo Bearing Traders, Andheri is now able to offer equipment assessments; identifying key condition monitoring data points; data collection and analysis; utilizing SKF Reliability Systems hardware; software and databases; and recommendations for optimizing the performance of plant equipment, offering a corrective action plan designed to improve machinery performance.

Certification in this program requires qualified engineers employed by Indo Bearing Traders successfully completing SKF training in the operation of advanced machine reliability software and equipment.  Indo Bearing Traders currently has one Service Engineer trained in SKF Certified Maintenance Partner practices, and plans to add one additional engineer to its team.
