SJVN Signs PPAs with GUVNL for Supply of Power from 3 Hydro Projects in Himachal Pradesh

SJVN has signed Power Purchase Agreements with Gujarat Urja Vikas Nigam for the sale of power from its upcoming 66 MW Dhaulasidh, 210 MW Luhri Stage-I and 382 MW Sunni Dam hydroelectric projects in Himachal Pradesh.

SJVN has announced that it has signed Power Purchase Agreements (PPAs) with Gujarat Urja Vikas Nigam (GUVNL) for the supply of power from its upcoming hydroelectric projects in Himachal Pradesh.
 
As per agreements, power will be supplied from 66 MW Dhaulasidh HEP, 210 MW Luhri Stage-I HEP and 382 MW Sunni Dam HEР, stated the company.
 
The Power Purchase Agreements were signed at Vadodara, Gujarat, by Aman Katoch, General Manager (C&SO), SJVN and Sanjay Mathur, General Manager (Commerce), GUVNL.
 
These agreements strengthen SJVN's portfolio of long-term power sale arrangements with leading power utilities across the country and reinforce its position as a key contributor to India's transition towards a cleaner, greener and more resilient energy future, stated the company.
