SJVN Invites Bids for 5.8 MW Grid-Connected RTS under PM Surya Ghar Yojana
Satluj Jal Vidyut Nigam Ltd. (SJVN) has issued an e-tender for the selection of solar rooftop power developers for a cumulative capacity of 5830 kW of grid-connected rooftop solar power projects on government buildings under RESCO mode.

Satluj Jal Vidyut Nigam Ltd. (SJVN) has recently floated a tender for the selection of solar rooftop power developers for a cumulative capacity of 5830 kW of grid-connected rooftop solar power projects without battery storage.
These projects will be installed on Union Government buildings in the states of NCT of Delhi, Madhya Pradesh, Uttar Pradesh, Haryana, Gujarat, Maharashtra and Rajasthan. The initiative is carried out under PM Surya Ghar Yojana and follows the RESCO model.
Bidders need to deposit INR 5900 (including GST) as RfS document fee and another INR 5000 (plus 18 percent GST) as a bid processing fee. They will also need to submit an earnest money deposit (EMD) of INR 1000/kW.
The last date for submission of Bids is October 16, 2024, till 11:00 AM. Technical bids will be opened on October 16, 2024, at 3:00 PM.
Bidders can take advantage of fiscal incentives like Accelerated Depreciation, Concessional Customs and Excise Duties, Tax Holidays, and other benefits for rooftop solar projects, but these incentives will not affect bid comparisons in the selection process.
No central government financial assistance will be available under the solar rooftop scheme for government buildings.
