SJVN Green Energy Issues BoS Tender for 401 MW Solar Projects in Maharashtra

SJVN Green Energy has issued a Balance of System Package tender for setting up 401 MW solar projects under MSKVY 2.0 (PM Kusum Component C) in Maharashtra. Bid submission ends on September 9, 2025.

SJVN Green Energy has floated a Balance of System Package tender for setting up 28 solar projects with a cumulative capacity of 401 MW under MSKVY 2.0 (PM Kusum Component C) in Maharashtra.

The projects must be completed within 12 months. The bidders must also offer comprehensive operation and maintenance services for three years.

Bidders need to pay INR 5,900 as attender document fee. Further, they need to furnish INR 5.28 lakh/MW as an earnest money deposit (EMD).

The last date for submission of bids is September 9, 2025 till 2:00 PM. The techno-commercial bids will be opened on the same day at 3:00 PM.

The land required for the solar projects shall be arranged by the BoS contractor, except for the land parcels for which SGEL has executed, noted the tender document.

The bidder, in the last 10 years, must have designed, supplied, erected/supervised erection and commissioned EPC or Balance of System of Solar Photo Voltaic (SPV) based grid-connected power plant(s) of cumulative installed capacity of 30 MWp or higher capacity out of which at least one plant must be of 10 MWp or higher capacity. This reference plant must be in successful operation for at least three months prior to the last day of month previous to one in which NIT is issued.

Alternatively, the bidder, in the last 10 years, must be a developer of Solar Photo Voltaic (SPV) based grid-connected power plant(s) of cumulative installed capacity of 30 MWp or higher capacity out of which at least one plant must be of 10 MWp or higher capacity. This reference plant must be in successful operation for at least three months prior to the last day of month previous to one in which NIT is issued.

Or, the bidder either as developer or as EPC contractor should have executed an industrial project in the area of power, steel, oil and gas, petro-chemical, fertilizer, cement, coal mining including coal handling plant and or any other process industry, or in infrastructure development project of a value of INR 88 lakh/MW in a single project or single work in the last 10 years and the same should be in successful operation for at least six months prior to the last day of month previous to one in which NIT is issued.

Additionally, the bidder must have executed at least one electrical sub-station of 33 kV or above voltage level, consisting of equipment such as 33kV or above voltage level circuit breakers and power transformer, either as a developer or as an EPC contractor which should be in successful operation for at least six months prior to the last day of month previous to one in which NIT is issued.

As for financial eligibility, the bidder must have an annual average turnover of INR 88 lakh/MW for the last three financial years.
