SJVN Green Energy Ltd. (SGEL) has announced a tender for the outright purchase or long-term lease (28 years) of up to 800 acres of land in Assam for establishing Solar Power Projects with a capacity of up to 200 MW.
Bidders are required to submit a Bid Security or Earnest Money Deposit (EMD) based on the land size viz. INR 20,00,000 for 200 acres, INR 40,00,000 for 400 acres, INR 60,00,000 for 600 acres, and INR 80,00,000 for 800 acres or more.
The tender documents will be available from October 3, 2024, at 18:00 hrs until October 24, 2024, at 12:00 hrs (IST). A pre-bid meeting is scheduled for October 10, 2024, at 11:00 hrs at SGEL's Corporate Headquarters in Shimla. The last date for bid submission is October 25, 2024, at 14:00 hrs, with the Techno-Commercial Bid opening at 15:00 hrs on the same day. Bidders must also submit hard copies of their Techno-Commercial bids by November 4, 2024, at 18:00 hrs.
The scope of work involves purchasing or leasing 800 acres of land in Assam for SJVN Green Energy Ltd., including allied services and constructing chain link fencing. Bidders can propose multiple land parcels up to 1,200 acres, with specific distance and capacity requirements related to the nearest STU substation.
