SJVN Green Energy Invites Bids for 1,000 MW Solar EPC Projects in Punjab, Rajasthan
SJVN Green Energy has invited bids for EPC development of up to 1,000 MW of grid-connected solar PV projects in Punjab and Rajasthan, with five-year O&M requirements. Bid submission ends on September 16, 2026.

SJVN Green Energy (SGEL), a wholly-owned subsidiary of SJVN, has floated an EPC tender with land for development of grid-connected Solar PV projects of aggregate capacity up to 1,000 MW in Punjab and Rajasthan.
Each 250 MW unit will have two parts: 100 MW, where the contractor will supply the solar PV modules and all other required equipment and materials, and 150 MW, where the solar PV modules will be provided by SGEL, while the contractor will handle the remaining requirements.
Bidders must also provide comprehensive operation and maintenance for five years.
Bidders need to pay INR 5,000 (plus GST) as the cost of the tender document. Further, they need to furnish INR 10 lakh/MW as an earnest money deposit (EMD).
The last date for submission of bids is September 16, 2026 till 2:00 PM. The techno-commercial bids will be opened on the same day at 3:00 PM.
Bids must be submitted capacity-wise for an aggregate capacity of 250 MW, 500 MW, 750 MW or 1,000 MW.
The bidder must have successfully completed similar works in the last seven years, either directly or as a developer/owner through an agency or contractor. Qualification requires either three projects of at least 100 MW each, two projects of at least 125 MW each, or one project of at least 200 MW. Each qualifying project must have been successfully operational for at least six months before the relevant NIT period.
The bidder must have an average annual turnover of at least INR 1.50 crore/MW during the last three financial years. It must also have a working capital of at least INR 86 lakh/MW of the aggregate capacity offered by it in its bid, for FY26.
The net worth of the bidder must be positive in at least two out of the last three financial years. Additionally, the company’s net worth in FY26 must be positive.
