SJVN Commissions Additional 100.25 MW at Bikaner Solar Project

SJVN Green Energy achieved commercial operation of 100.25 MW at its Bikaner solar project, raising total operational capacity to 501.02 MW. The remaining capacity is expected soon.

SJVN Green Energy Ltd.(SGEL), a wholly owned subsidiary of SJVN Ltd., has achieved commercial operations for an additional 100.25 MW of its 1,000 MW Bikaner Solar Power Project in Rajasthan.

With this, the project’s cumulative operational capacity has now reached 501.02 MW. The company confirmed that the remaining capacity is progressing toward completion and is expected to be commissioned shortly.

In recent months, SJVN has not only progressed its massive solar project by surpassing the 500 MW-commercial operation mark but also executed a major solar-BESS tender, reinforcing its top-tier role in India’s renewable energy expansion.
