SJVN Appoints Sipan Kumar Garg as Chief Financial Officer

The Board of Directors of SJVN Ltd. has approved the appointment of Sipan Kumar Garg as the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) of the company.

Garg, currently serving as Director (Finance) at THDC India Ltd. since August 2024, also held the role of CFO and Key Managerial Personnel (KMP) there. A highly qualified finance professional, he is a Chartered Accountant (CA), Cost and Management Accountant (CMA), and Company Secretary (CS), a rank holder in the examination, and holds degrees in Commerce (Hons.) and Law (LL.B.).

With over 23 years of experience in the power sector, he has held key positions across NTPC Group companies, including Aravali Power Company Pvt. Ltd. and Patratu Vidyut Utpadan Nigam Ltd. He has also contributed to NTPC’s corporate finance division and the Koldam Hydro Power Project.

The firm said in its statement that Garg was named 'Visionary CFO of India' at the National Economic Growth Summit 2024.
