Siemens receives Rs. 228 crores order from Reliance Industries

SST 600 Steam turbines to be installed by Reliance Industries in the Petrochemical Expansion project at Jamnagar

Siemens Limited announced that it has received orders for approximately Rs. 228 crores from Reliance Industries Limited for supply of four SST 600 Steam Turbogenerator units for its Jamnagar Refinery. Reliance Industries is in the process of expansion of its J3 petrochemical complex at Jamnagar, Gujarat.

The scope of the project includes design, manufacture, supply and commissioning of the Steam Turbine Generation units. The Steam Turbines will be manufactured at Siemens' Vadodara Factory.
