Sharika Enterprises Bags INR 1.77 Cr Order for Solar Street Lights from NTPC Talcher in Odisha
Sharika Enterprises strengthens its association with NTPC through its latest INR 1.77 crore order from NTPC Talcher for the supply, installation, commissioning, and AMC of integrated solar street lights across peripheral villages in Odisha.

Noida-based Sharika Enterprises has announced that the company has secured an order worth INR 1.77 crore for the supply, installation, commissioning, and AMC of integrated solar street lights in the peripheral villages of NTPC Talcher in Odisha.
The solutions incorporate high-efficiency solar PV modules, intelligent LED luminaires with automated dimming and motion-sensing features, maintenance-free battery systems, and robust pole structures, supporting reliable, energy-efficient lighting and enhanced safety, the company said in a statement.
Commenting on the development, Rajinder Kaul, Chairman and Managing Director, Sharika Enterprises, said, “Solar-powered infrastructure plays a vital role in improving energy efficiency, enhancing safety, and supporting sustainability objectives across large utility and industrial campuses. Beyond the ongoing initiative at NTPC Talcher, Sharika Enterprises is associated with solar infrastructure engagements across multiple NTPC locations, including Angul, Tanda, Unchahar, and NETRA, reflecting the continuity of collaboration and confidence in the company’s execution capabilities, the company stated.
Sharika Enterprises brings strong credentials in the renewable energy domain, with experience in solar power projects up to 5 MW capacity and the deployment of large-scale solar LED street lighting installations, with cumulative installations running into over 15,000 solar LED lights, it said.
The company also has an established presence in solar rooftop solutions, having executed projects for leading organisations such as NTPC, NHPC, SECI, PGCIL, Indian Railways, and other public sector and institutional clients across India. These projects span utility facilities, industrial campuses, and critical infrastructure locations.
