Seven Greens Commissions 2.7 MW Rooftop Solar Project Across 23 Railway Stations

Seven Greens, a renewable energy solutions provider, has successfully completed and commissioned the Jaipur Railway Solar Project. Comprising 2.7 MW of rooftop solar capacity, the geographically dispersed installation covers 23 railway stations along a 350-kilometre corridor under the North Western Railway zone across Rajasthan and Haryana.

The initiative represents a stride toward transforming conventional transit hubs into clean energy generators. By leveraging distributed rooftop solar assets, the project directly lowers dependence on fossil-fuel-based grid electricity, cuts operational carbon emissions and directly supports Indian Railways’ overarching mission to transition toward a net-zero carbon transportation network.

Executing clean energy projects across a sprawling, active rail corridor presented significant operational complexity. Seven Greens managed the end-to-end lifecycle—spanning initial system design, equipment procurement, complex logistics and installation through to final commissioning—while maintaining stringent quality, safety and operational standards across all 23 sites.
