Senvion India has won a 54.6 MW wind turbine order from Prozeal Green Pvt. Ltd. for a commercial and industrial (C&I) project in Gujarat. The project involves the installation of 13 wind turbine generators, each uprated to 4.4 MW, at a hub height of 140 metres.
The order covers the supply and installation of the turbines, along with operations and maintenance (O&M) services for up to 25 years. Senvion said that the first turbine had been installed earlier in October and project execution was progressing as scheduled.
The project will use the company’s 4.2M160 wind turbine model, built on its modular 4XM platform and equipped with a 160-metre rotor. The turbines are designed to operate under varied site conditions and support higher energy generation.
Following commissioning, Senvion will use its FLEETPRO digital monitoring platform to track turbine performance, conduct remote diagnostics and support maintenance activities.
Shreyas B Suvarna, CEO of Senvion India, said that the project reflects the company’s focus on developing wind turbine technology suited to Indian conditions, supported by local manufacturing and long-term service capabilities.
Manan Thakkar, CEO of Prozeal Green Pvt. Ltd., said that the partnership supports the company’s strategy of investing in high-performance renewable energy assets and expanding its presence in the commercial and industrial wind energy segment.
