SECI Releases Notice Inviting Tenders for RE-Storage Projects in Lakshadweep

The Solar Energy Corporation of India Limited (SECI) has announced that it has released a notice inviting tenders (NIT) for the employment of Renewable Energy Projects under its possession at Lakshadweep Islands.

The projects will be developed under a Build-Own-Operate (BOO) basis and will be stretch across the 11 islands of Lakshadweep, with prominence on developing the RE Projects coupled with suitable capacity of Battery Energy Storage System (BESS).

The Project endeavors at powering the electricity supply of the populated islands in Lakshadweep partly or wholly through RE sources.

The concise scale of work will include the Design, Engineering, Supply, Construction, Erection, Testing & Commissioning of RE Projects along with BESS. The winning bidder(s) will also be accountable for the successful Operation and Maintenance (O&M) of the project.

The Bidding documents (NIT No. SECI/C&P/NIT/2019/LKRE) for the project tender which will be executed under the International competitive bidding process, will be available for download from 31/01/2019 online at www.tcil-india-electronictender.com, Central Public Procurement portal (CPPP) of GoI at www.eprocure.gov.in & will also be accessible at SECI’s website.
