SECI Invites Bids for 13,043 kW Rooftop Solar Projects in Puducherry
Solar Energy Corporation of India has issued a tender for setting up rooftop solar plants on government buildings in Puducherry with a cumulative capacity of 13,043 kW on RESCO mode. Bid submission ends on October 21, 2025.

Solar Energy Corporation of India (SECI) has floated a tender for setting up 13,043 kW grid-connected rooftop solar projects on government buildings in Puducherry (RTSPV-Tranche-V) in RESCO mode.
Bidders need to pay INR 6,000 as a tender document fee. Further, they need to pay INR 900/kW as an earnest money deposit (EMD). Selected bidders need to pay INR 3,375/kW as Performance Bank Guarantee (PBG).
The last date for submission of bids is October 21, 2025. The techno-commercial bids will be opened on October 24, 2025.
Selected bidders will be responsible for supplying and storing project equipment, executing civil works, and securing a no-objection certificate from the concerned distribution company for grid connectivity.
They must also obtain net-metering, grid connectivity, and all requisite permits, approvals, licenses, and insurance, in addition to providing training and other necessary support for successful project completion.
Solar panels to be used in the projects must be ALMM-compliant. The declared annual CUF must in no case be less than 15 percent.
The net worth of the bidder must be equal to or greater than INR 9,000/kW corresponding to the cumulative quoted capacity, as on the last date of previous Financial Year, i.e., FY 2024-25 or as on the day at least 7 days prior to the bid submission deadline.
Additionally, the bidder must have a working capital, equal to or greater than INR 11,250/kW as on the last date of FY 2024-25 or as on the day at least 7 days prior to the bid submission deadline.
