SECI Floats BoS Tender for 700 MW Solar Project in Gujarat

Solar Energy Corporation of India has issued a BoS tender for a 700 MW (AC) solar PV project at Radha Nesda in Gujarat, covering turnkey execution and five years of O&M. Bid submission ends on January 29, 2026.

Solar Energy Corporation of India (SECI) has floated a tender for balance of system (BoS) for a 700 MW (AC) solar PV power plant at Radha Nesda, Banaskantha, Gujarat.
 
The scope of work includes design and engineering, procurement and supply of equipment and materials (excluding PV Modules), testing at manufacturers works, multi-level inspections, packing and forwarding, supply, receipt, unloading and storage at site, associated civil works, services, permits, licences, installation and incidentals, insurance at all stages, erection, testing and commissioning for 700 MW (AC) solar PV power project.
 
It also includes performance demonstration with associated equipment and materials on a turnkey basis, along with five years of comprehensive operation and maintenance from the date of commissioning.
 
Bidders need to pay INR 25,000 as a tender processing fee. Further, they need to furnish INR 33.05 crore as an earnest money deposit (EMD). The selected bidder must deposit.
 
The last date for submission of bids online is January 29, 2026 till 2:00 PM. The techno-commercial bids will be opened on the same day at 4:00 PM.
 
The supply of PV modules at the project site shall be in the scope of SECI. “However, for the purpose of bidding contractor may consider a 585 Wp Mono PERC module of 21.65 percent efficiency with dimensions 2382 mm x 1134 mm,” noted the tender.
 
The bidder must have experience, either as a developer or as an EPC player, for executing ground-mounted solar PV projects of at least 280 MW in the last seven years. Out of this, at least two grid-connected solar PV plants must have an individual capacity of 70 MW or above, and the plants must have been in satisfactory operation for at least six months prior to the last date of bid submission.
 
Alternatively, the bidder must have executed in the last seven years an industrial project either as a developer or as an EPC contractor in the area of power, steel, oil and gas, petrochemical, fertilizer, cement, coal mining including coal handling plant and or any other process industry, of a value of at least INR 826.15 crore, in a single project or single work. The same should be in successful operation for at least six months.
 
Additionally, the bidder must have executed at least one electrical sub-station of 33 kV or above voltage level, consisting of equipment such as 33 kV or above voltage level circuit breakers and power transformer, either as a developer or as an EPC Contractor. The same should be in successful operation for at least six months, prior to the date of techno-commercial bid opening.
 
The average annual turnover of the bidder must not be less than INR 495.69 crore during the preceding three financial years. The net worth of the bidder in the last financial year must be positive. Additionally, they must have a working capital of at least INR 260.89 crore.
