SECI awards contracts to Kosol Energie, Saatvik Green Energy, Technical Associates Transformers and LC Infra for 700 MW Radhanesda solar project in Gujarat.

The Solar Energy Corporation of India (SECI) has awarded multiple contracts for setting up a 700 MW ground-mounted solar photovoltaic (PV) plant at Radhanesda in Gujarat, covering solar module supply, power transformers and the balance of system (BoS).
Under the tender for manufacturing, testing, packing, forwarding, supply and transportation of 870 MWp of domestically manufactured solar PV modules using domestically manufactured solar cells, SECI awarded a 300 MWp package to Kosol Energie Pvt. Ltd. for INR 5,58,59,18,972.20, inclusive of taxes.
Saatvik Green Energy was awarded a 600 MWp package under the same tender, with an award value of INR 10,93,71,34,588.35, inclusive of taxes.
SECI also awarded a contract for the engineering, design, manufacturing, testing and supply of five 160 MVA, 220/33-33 kV power transformers for the Radhanesda project. Technical Associates Transformers Ltd. received the contract, valued at INR 73,39,19,790, inclusive of taxes.
For the balance of system works for setting up the 700 MW grid-connected ground-mounted solar PV plant, LC Infra Projects Pvt. Ltd. was awarded the contract. The award value stands at INR 10,95,15,24,254.91, inclusive of taxes.
The contracts together cover key components of the Radhanesda solar project, including domestically manufactured PV modules, power transformers and BoS works.
